She restarted the sleeping SEED in 2000 and has been building the organisation ever since. Leigh believes in the work that SEED is now working at building the Rocklands Urban Abundance Centre and the Community Enterprise Incubator. |

Yoliswa studied Horticulture at Cape Technikon and worked in different sectors of the plant industry before joining SEED in 2008 as a Permaculture Learner. Yoli is facilitating the Green Beginning Phase of the Organic Classroom at four Cape Flats schools in 2010. Yoli is excited to use Permaculture to create abundant productive systems in an urban environment. |

Carvine is a 33 year old man with a decent amount of accounting experience that spans close to 8 years across various industries, retail, cellular and now non profit sector. He is currently studying towards a UK based accounting Qualification, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The slogan that keeps Carvine sane is "Keep Calm and Carry On." |

Mike comes to us with experience in Permaculture and Project Management in South. Mike's knowledge of sustainable development is multi faceted and comprehensive. Mike truly believes in the work that SEED is doing and his commitment and dedication to the field of Permaculture and sustainability in South Africa are driven by his desire to want to give something back to the country, its people and the environment. |

Theo Oldjohn has extensive experience in leading projects, leadership coaching, community development and gourmet mushroom cultivation. He is now heading up SEEDs Gourmet Mushroom Community Enterprise unit. |

did her Permaculture Design Certificate in 1998 at Wildrock Farm. She runs her own nursery, is a facilitator par-excellance and is in love with earth worms. Tina can be found delivering the Organic Classroom Program to three schools in Johannesburg. |

got into gardening when she realised
that many people in her area, who were sick or dying of HIV/AIDS had
little or no food at home. She has a thriving garden at home and has shared her knowledge with her neighbours so her entire street is an oasis of food
and color. She is an inspiration and is very excited to be working
with SEED after participating in a three week permaculture training
workshop in 2010 in Cape Town. |

in Zimbabwe in 1993. Since then she has taught Design Courses, managed community projects and worked
extensively in South Africa. Her passions are training, seed banking,
earth building and developing training materials. She has been
involved in the SEED schools programme for five years. Alex's work for the Organic Classroom includes mentoring facilitators and monitoring and evaluating participating schools. She is also teaching the short courses and the Accredited Permaculture Training. |

Wendy worked full time for seed 2007-2008, co-facilitated the APT in 2009 and returns to teach short courses this year. |
